The purpose of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences is to publish articles of permanent interest dealing with research, development and design related to science and technology in Mechanical Engineering, encompassing interfaces with other branches of engineering, as well as with Physics and Applied Mathematics.

OBS: From 15/05/2009 this site will be closed for new paper submissions.

New paper submissions should be directed to the new JBSMSE SCIELO system: Click here to have access to the SCIELO system.

We have managed to copy around 900 user registers from this system to the new one (This was a copy operation so user registers are still present in this system). This means that users can also log into the new SCIELO system with the same username and password. However, we did this operation around the beginning of February 2009. Therefore, if you can not get into the new system please contact the Journal Manager, Prof. Newton Maruyama, at maruyama@usp.br.

All papers that have been submitted prior to 15/05/2009 will be maintained in this site. So, if you submitted a paper prior to this date you need to access this system to follow your paper revision process.
